We hope we’ve set the right expectations but in order to avoid any misunderstandings, please note the following key points. When you sign up to Benedix Investments Limited products or services you are deemed to agree and accept the terms of conditions of sales.

In Brief:

• Although some of our trainers have extensive financial experience, nothing in the workshop and all other Benedix Investments Limited training programme constitutes financial advice
• Although our trainers have opinions about the best way to secure a career, you must use your own judgement in implementing their recommendations, and neither our trainers nor Benedix Investments Limited can be held responsible for the consequences of anything you do in your efforts to attain a career.
• Attendance at any Benedix seminar or training programmes does not guarantee that you will get a job.

Discounts:

Student discounts are only available to full-time students who are studying a full time degree and have an up to date, valid student ID card. Part-time course; evening courses, Masters Courses and or all other Professional courses do not qualify for the discount.

Cancellations & Changes:

Deposits

• All deposits paid are non-refundable.

Cancellations

• All bookings for our workshops and all online programmes purchased at discounted price, special offer or sale prices (including student/graduate discounts) are non-refundable.
• Any booking made 7 days before the actual event date is non-transferrable (i.e. cannot change date to another event date). However, under our sole discretion we may allow this transfer with a re-booking charge of £27.50 + VAT.
• Your booking for the City Professional Workshop is 100% non-transferable – You cannot change the name on your booking or transfer name to anyone else.

Change of Date

• If you are unable to attend the date for which you originally booked, we may, at our sole discretion, allow you to attend a workshop at a later date, subject to availability of spaces on later courses and providing that you request the change of date no later than 7 days before the seminar date (as the 7 days rule/terms mentioned above under cancellations).
• If you request a change of date within 7 days of the date of the seminar for which you were originally booked and we agree/authorise to change your booking, a re-booking fee of £27.50 + VAT will be charged.
• If you do not request a change of date at least 7 days before the date of the event, and do not attend the workshop on the date booked, you forfeit your booking and cannot transfer the date of the booking to another date.

In participating in a course, I understand and accept that:

• The courses, workshops, seminars, tutorials and interactive gatherings (“Courses”) and course materials (that is the books, journals, magazines, Compact Discs, audio cassettes, video cassettes, CD-ROMs, DVDs, materials, notes, handouts, work books, print outs, systems or teaching methods, I am given) are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute advice or a recommendation to make any action with regards to securing or commencing a career. If particular institutions, companies, careers, investments or investment vehicles are mentioned in the Courses or in the course materials, they are only examples and are provided for educational and illustrative purposes only and do not constitute advice or a recommendation to make any action with regards to securing or commencing a career.

• Attendance at the Benedix City Professional Workshop does not guarantee that you will be forwarded to interview with our recruitment partners or that you will secure a position through the Benedix Recruitment department, as this is dependent on your suitability as a candidate for any role that we have at the current time. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this document excludes or limits Benedix Investments Limited’s liability for:

1. fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter;

2. death or personal injury caused by its negligence;

3. any breach of obligations implied by Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979; or

Confidentiality

• I acknowledge that all content, workbooks, materials and systems taught in the Courses in any media or form belong to Benedix Investments Limited and are 1) the trade secrets of Benedix Investments Limited and 2) are protected by the laws of confidentiality and international copyright laws.

• I agree that I will only use such materials for my own private, non-commercial use and will not copy, plagiarise or make available or divulge to any unauthorised party any of the materials, notes, systems or teachings of the course whether for financial gain or otherwise.

• I consent to my presence in any audio, video or photographic recordings of the Courses or sessions officially arranged by Benedix Investments Limited. I waive any rights, claims or interest in the reproduction, distribution, display and exposure of any and all aforementioned recordings which shall be owned exclusively by Benedix Investments Limited.
