From Student To CEO: 97 Ways To Influence Your Way To The Top In Banking And Finance, Simon Dixon

Hi All,

So one thing I have discovered…

…once you have completed your book, it takes AGES until it is actually ready to be published.

So I want to update you on an opportunity to learn how you can go further than you ever imagined in banking and finance…

My customer service team have been receiving hundreds of emails asking about when the book ‘From Student To CEO: 97 Ways To Influence Your Way To The Top In Banking And Finance’ will be ready…

…well the publishers are working day and night to get it ready…

….but it is not one of those things you can rush.

Here is the deal…

To launch it in style I have scheduled a Banking & Finance launch event called…

‘Banking & Finance Millionaires & Millionaires To Be…’

I will be inviting some of the most influential thought leaders and inspiring speakers in the world..

… I have really dug into my little black book and it is going to be amazing…

The date is November 22nd in Central London and so far I have  an amazing line up of speakers confirmed for you…

Here is a taster…

I have got…

Lex van Dam, star of the ‘Million Dollar Traders’ BBC Reality TV show, ex Goldman Sachs Proprietary Trader, a world famous hedge fund manager and author (In fact too much to mention here)

…to present on his story from international student to owning a hedge fund and to inspire you on how you can do the same…

If that’s not enough I managed to twist Mike Harris’ arm into giving his first and only talk to students who want to be leaders in Banking & Finance…

Mike Harris will coach you on how to pitch to CEO’s. Mike pitched and founded three multi billion pound businesses, one being the first ever internet bank and the other the first ever telephone bank…

There is only one word for him…

Genius…

I will also get my good friend Daniel Priestley who is just about the most connected person I know to coach you on how to become a key person of influence in banking and finance…

…and he will show you why there has never been a better time to personally brand yourself for a top paying career in banking and finance…

Daniel Priestley is the coach of some of the leading entrepreneurs in the world.

You will be amazed at what is possible after meeting Daniel…

You will also be learning from me on how to connect with the most influential people in the industry and…

A Surprise guest speaker…

You will find out why the entire banking system might be revolutionized by social sites like Facebook as we look into the next decade and beyond.

I will also be revealing to you my latest Private Equity Deals that we are lining up at Metal Monkey Private Equity and what that means for your career.

And much much more…

The networking and connections will be amazing and this is your chance to be surrounded by people that do things differently to everybody else.

How is that for a book launch party…?

Places are limited and it will probably sell out in an hour on launch day so…

If you would like to be notified first when we open for bookings, post a comment below and let me know what you would like covered at the event and we will give you priority notice when we open for orders.

Also…

If you have not done so already, register your details on this site so we can let you know the second the book is ready.

Looking forward to seeing you climb the ladder fast.

Simon Dixon

P.S. Please spread the word. I would love your help to make sure my message reaches as many as possible seeking careers in Banking And Finance. Please share this post on Facebook and forward through email.

As always Simon your words are soothing to a stressed, unemployed graduate looking for his first break into sales and trading.

Sounds like another winner Simon. The line up looks pretty amazing.

As far as what I would like covered at the event ? well…..
You could tell us how to set up a successful hedge fund – that would make me very happy :)

Also, in your opinion, which is the best online trading platform to practice on without real money ?

Thanks for sharing all your wisdom.

Wishing you and everyone else reading the highest success.

      Hi Francis.

It will be very exclusive and if it was free we would have thousands.

So it will be paying clients only.

You can’t put a price on things like this though, they pay for themselves many times over in opportunity.

This sounds like the perfect opportunity to me to learn from those at the top and learn some valuable lessons. As you asked for what we would like covered, I guess among other things, it would be great to know how all the speakers got their foot through the door in B&F – as this is the main reason student/graduates signed up with Benedix .

Thanks for setting up this event and please let me know when the bookings are available.

Is that why Mike Harris has to try to make money through public speaking and book publishing because he is such a successful ‘billionaire’?

Also is that the reason there are never any negative comments on here or Facebook?

Is that why you are such a successful trader that you have to make money through making videos to students?

      Wow.

This guy looks like he is going places?

      What do you all think?

If somebody is questioning Mike Harris, one of the most respected business leaders in the world, Edward must really have a chip on his shoulder about business.
      Amazing.

Its called passion and business, the number one skill banks look for is commercial awareness, otherwise they could not pay your wages, that is if you have a job with a Bank yet.

And I am not a trader right now, I am in private equity.

Thanks for that amazing insight into how you think

      Simon

P.S. Success Leaves Clues. Most successful business leaders have books and sell speaking. That is like saying Richard Branson is not successful because he sells books and charges for his keynote speeches.

To be fair Edward, this is a fairly ridiculous comment! If you’ve never heard of Mike Harris your probably in the wrong game (think First Direct and Egg!)

I have not been open and completely receptive to all aspects of Benedix as I believe you need to fully understand something before delving in. But for people who are not sure on where they want to go in Banking, or for people who do but can’t and either need guidance, advice or for exam help, then Benedix is a great port of call.

On your comment about Simon, if you’re going to slate someone on their career, research it first. Trader-Corporate Financier-Private Equity

Not being harsh, but I actually want to back Simon up on this one.

Did you decide what role you wanted to accept?

Last we spoke you had many offers?

I think you were choosing between an insurance offer and a trading offer.

        Hope to catch up soon.

      No Probs,

Unfortunately if it was free we would have thousands attend. We have found that those who are most committed and the people that get results are the ones willing to invest.

When you do a free events it tends to attract a bad crowd from experience.

I have always paid my tuition for event like this and it is important to do so, so you appreciate it and make sure you get the results.

    Simon,
Packaging an a offer like this in association with your book launch seems to be the icing a very lovely cake. Providing that book will cover in more depth and be able to reach out to more people as well as the seminars. Just look at what Mr Blair’s memoirs did last few weeks.
Will definitely invite Msc and Bsc finance and banking students to the event which i believe will provide great insight and leverage for their future roles and networks.

I would like more development on the concept of the entrepreneurial bankers where get the job is a means to the end of creating value, wealth and transformation for banking as a whole. So these bankers don’t become bonus chasers who might lose their jobs at the next bubble :)

People do not find work because they lack of experience. I have the opposite problem. Agency call me (in August 2010 I made 14 interviews) to invite me for an interview but of the calls I receive is from agency which call me just to say that they cannot select me for any role because I am overqualified. This situation is getting me crazy. Probably if I meet your team of experts they may tell me where my error is or what I should do. How can register for this event and how much does it cost?
