The internet offers a great tool for people looking to track down their dream banking graduate jobs, it has been suggested.

According to the Mirror, with almost 2.5 million people unemployed – the highest level in 15 years – the internet offers access to a much larger number of jobs than newspapers or job centre offices.

The newspaper suggested that thousands of jobs are posted online every day. A number of these could appeal to anyone searching for finance graduate jobs and schemes.

"Very often the people out of work are the ones without access to the web, or who don’t realise it’s job-hunting potential," it suggested.

"Not only does the web list thousands of jobs, but you can also find great tips for creating a top CV and filling in job application forms."

It went on to explain that there are websites designed especially to share careers advice and show job hunters how to portray themselves in the best light during interviews.

Recently, a survey by Hirescores.com revealed that 76 per cent of people are using activities and hobbies to make their CVs more impressive.
